Description

Nahargarh Fort is a fort built on the highest hill in Jaipur from where the entire city is visible at a glance. When you enter the gate of the fort, it feels as if time has stopped for a while. Big doors, rooms of the old palace and feeling the face of the cold breeze passing through them is a completely different feeling. Nahargarh means home of Tigers but the real magic of this place is its sunset view. All the lights of the city, the alleys up and down, and the beauty of Jaipur swaying in the wind, everything is visible from here. Inside the fort is the Madhavendra Bhawan, where Raja Sawai Madho Singh built separate palaces for his nine queens. Each palace has small details, beautiful fountains, and paintings that depict the life of that time. It is said that at night a different story goes on here. There is a little silence, a little fear, and an interesting energy as if old memories are floating in the air. And if you sit there with someone close to you, take a cup of tea, and look towards the city you will feel as if the world has become perfect for a while. This place is not just a fort, it is a feeling. Adventure lovers can enjoy cycling and trekking, and for photo lovers this place is a dream spot. Nahargarh Fort not only teaches you history, it takes you closer to yourself – a place where you can talk to yourself. The dazzle of lights, the cold breeze, and a bit of thrill. From outside the fort looks old, but from the inside it is full of emotions. If you came to Jaipur and didn’t go to Nahargarh, then you didn’t feel the real spirit of the city. Because Nahargarh is not a place it’s a feeling, a series of meeting oneself.
